SMS Policy
Last updated: May 5, 2026
CynteraTech LLC operates SMS messaging on behalf of our customers as part of CynteraCommunication. This page describes how we handle consent, frequency, and opt-out — both for the messages we send to you directly and the messages our customers send through our platform.
1. Consent (Opt-In)
We send SMS only to people who have given express, informed consent. Consent is captured at the point of contact — for example, when you submit a form on this site and check the SMS opt-in box, or when you provide a phone number during a call with one of our customer's AI receptionists. Consent records include the timestamp, the specific language shown to you, and the channel through which you provided consent.
2. 10DLC and TCPA Compliance
Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. All categories of personal information described in our Privacy Policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign.
Our messaging platforms operate under registered 10DLC campaigns and follow TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act) requirements: documented consent, identification of the sending business, and a clear opt-out path on every campaign.
3. Message Frequency
Frequency varies by campaign type. Transactional messages (booking confirmations, appointment reminders) are sent only when triggered by your interaction. Conversational messages (replies to your inbound messages) are sent only when you initiate. We do not send promotional SMS without separate, explicit promotional opt-in.
4. Opt-Out (STOP)
Reply STOP to any message at any time to immediately stop all SMS communication from that campaign. You can also reply HELP for more information. Opt-out requests are honored within seconds and logged. Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier plan.
5. Quiet Hours
Outbound messages we initiate respect quiet hours based on the recipient's timezone (typically 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM local). Replies to inbound conversations are not subject to quiet hours, since the recipient initiated the exchange.
6. How This Policy Relates to Our Customers' Messages
When you receive an SMS from a CynteraCommunication-powered line, the message may be sent on behalf of the business you contacted, with CynteraTech LLC operating the messaging infrastructure. The specific brand and campaign registration depends on the deployment — in some configurations the business itself is registered as the sender, in others CynteraTech LLC is the registered sender providing service to that business. In all cases, the compliance standards on this page are enforced regardless of the registration model. Contact us if you need to know the exact registration for a specific number.
7. Contact
Questions about how SMS works on a specific business's line, or to escalate an opt-out that wasn't honored, email cyntera@cynteratech.com. See also our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.
